Introduction
This 2,5 day workshop is designed to give Safety Managers and other key staff involved in Air Operations or with Approved Training Organisations an understanding of the requirements necessary for the management of structured and effective Safety Systems. The workshop also reviews the future safety requirements presented in Opinion 6/2016 for Continuing Airworthiness.
Workshop Content
Brief introduction to Basic Regulation EC 216/2008
Introduction to ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
Focus on relevant parts of Regulations EU 965/12 and 1178/11 for Air Operations and Air Crew (ATOs) as well as Opinion 6/2016 for Continuing Airworthiness.

Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their Safety Management System descriptions in order to compare material and possibly improve their existing material.
Learning Objectives
This workshop focuses on giving participants a sufficient understanding of the EC/EU/EASA requirements and practical experience in applying the various tools necessary to facilitate the required tasks of Safety Management.

Pre-requisites
An interest of getting a better understanding of the Safety Management requirements and tools.
Duration
2,5 days, starting at 09:00 on all 3 days and finishing by 17:00 the first two days, and at 12:00 on the third day.
