Introduction

This 3 day course is designed to provide aspiring auditors with a sufficient understanding of the principles and practice of auditing to enable them to develop auditing processes to suit a broad range of auditing activities (in-company or with contractors) relating to Ground Operations and Flight Operations. The course will provide candidates with the necessary tools and techniques to plan and undertake individual auditing activities that verify regulatory compliance and process effectiveness.

Workshop Content

This highly interactive course follows all the different stages of the actual audit process starting with the audit announcement and ending with the follow-up after the audit. Each stage of the audit process finishes with an exercise whereby newly acquired theoretical knowledge is put in practice and best practices are highlighted. In addition, the course addresses the content of the Authority Requirements and the Organisation Requirements of Part Air Operations as it pertains to auditing and inspecting.

This training course gives participants sufficient understanding of the principles and practice of auditing that will enable them to develop auditing processes to suit the full range of auditing undertaken by Compliance Monitoring Departments specialized in Ground Operations and Flight Operations.

Those involved in undertaking any form of airline audit or inspection activity and management staff responsible for (parts of the) Ground – or Flight Operations who are being audited by internal audit teams and  Civil Aviation Authority staff will benefit from attending this course.

Pre-requisites

A keen interest in auditing and an understanding of flight and/or ground operation processes is an advantage when attending this course
